Default Narrow - Wideband

ok simply put... if i have a wideband sensor, and the AEM UEGO can i switch my narrow band O2 sensor with my narrowband.... or what? in other words can i have a wideband connected to the PCM instead of the narrowband... if not what would i have to do to be able to control A/F ratios..... and just a side note question: does the UEGO allow you to log data?

god i really hate this non-tunable PCM bs.......there has to be a way to tune the PCM..... does Dodge give their encryption out for them if you ask for it or not? and i think if they dont we all should get together and put our names and VIN #'son an e-mail and spam the **** out of them asking for the codes.....

Its actually very good programming, its just not good for anyone who wants to tune or modify the car. Its not illegal to change the programming on your Neon, it just violates copyright laws when you distribute such information. If you had the computer skill, a DRBIII programmer, and a few other gadgets its well within the realm of possibility to flash in new values into the base NGC code. The reason DCx went with the NGC between 03-05 on most Dodge/Chrysler cars was because of two factors: emissions and warranty. Thats it.

I can't remember which right now, but at least one of the aftermarket 'wide band O2 sensor'
companies (PF owned by Kevin Gertgen perhaps) now provide a electric circuit that converts the wide band signal to a 0-1 volt output signal to 'mimic' a narrow band O2 senor.

This allows you to connect the wide band to the factory PCM narrow band input.
