Mine are Dakota M/Ts made by Cooper for Pep Boys.

And as I've often commented, are great tires handicapped by Pep Boys and thier generally inconsistent service.

Still for the cost I'm willing to deal with it. If you have good shop in your area, the tires are an excellent value.

For the record, I've also used up a set of Kuhmo Mudders (2nd best tire!) a set of General AT-2s which were ok, probably dried out, and a set of Interco Truxus tires which I wouldn't give ya .02 for. The truck came with Bigfoot HTs, great for highway, horrible for off road.

245/75/16 Michelin LTX M/S great tire would recommend to anyone, My dad had a set last him 80,000 miles and took them off because he was going on a long trip and bought a new set, this set has been on the truck since about 98,000 got just under 160,000 on the clock, tires are almost 5 years old and show no signs of it.

They are quiet on the highway, and hold themselves off the pavement, downside is the price

Hate my Wrangler TDs, too.

I'll probably get Toyo Open Country A/Ts or Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos next.

Those are what my parents are gonna get on their 4Runner.

What ever I can Find used for less than $200 for all four tires, they rarely match in brand but always in size, and sometimes in tread.
