drove around tryna break in the gears!

 

Ran several pieces up to the powdercoater (Hi lift mounts, Dropped drag link, track bar bracket).
Cleaned and painted Hi lift.

 

Harvested a throttle body and intake manifold from a Ram van. This will be my next little project. I want to do a kegger mod and TB port and polish.

hey thats what i'm going to look into tomorrow. a junk yard up the road has a couple rams and i'm gonna see if i can get the intake and tb off one for when its plenum gasket time. that way when i take mine off i can put the clean/modified one in its place. hopefully one of those trucks has a good grille too, that place only wants 25$ for a grille so i think i can afford that.

 

yea i was thinking i sure wouldn't mind having a poormans 50 mm tb, and modded keg...or a keg of beer for that matter

 

isn't the 360 tb 48mm? it would mean less to bore out for a 318's motor.

 

i thought they were the same size, and 50 is the biggest i can go before i need new butterflys IIRC
