Sunday... Cleaned and painted front differential, inner wells. and suspension. Reinstalled stabilizer. Cleaned front tires and repainted backs of rims. Checked ball joints (borderline). Turned truck around and scrubbed rear inner fenders.
Yeah, my driver's side had a huge hole, too. I had bought some from Rock Auto that said OEM, but they were cheap imitations. I sent them back. These were the actual Mopar Accessories mats with the actual Mopar Performance cardboard hanger like you'd find them at the dealer. Got them from Geno's Garage. About $44 plus shipping. They were exact replacements in feel, weight, look, texture and cut with the exception of the Dodge logo. I be very happy.
That is not bad, I'll have to look into that. Even the after markets are that much or more. $44 for OEM is really good.
Went out to start it in the rain, and the battery is toast.... Time to go get another one from the never start program. Looks like I blew another cell on this one...
Those look nice Purple but you gotta remember I live in California, we never get any of that wet stuff, what do you call it, oh yea, rain. Sheese my water bill keeps climbing because they keep telling us there isn't enough water to go around so they keep charging us like it's gold instead of a necessity of life.
Laramie, I envy you....You actually get to see this rain....I've only seen it in movies....
I dropped the pan on my tranny, welded a bung in it for the temp sender, hooked up the wiring, replaced the filter, buttoned her back up and filled her with 5 quarts of Castrol ATF+4. Next, the oil temp sender.
Ran all my sway bar parts to the powder coating shop. Pulled the left reat tire to detail it and the inner fender. Got the fender done just before the T-storms hit. Back painted the wheel and finished the tire in the garage.
Wire brushed all the mounting bolts and hardware for painting.
