Again, thanks for the info. I'm going with 60/40 because the winters here sometimes see -20 and I really don't want a cracked block. My mom had a 95 Ram that had lived it's whole life in Texas and she didn't change the coolant when she moved up here a couple of years ago. It got very cold and cracked the block.

@Mechanik or anyone else who's done that: Did you just use sandpaper or a brush/buffer wheel for a drill/dremel?

The previous owner hit a deer and had a cheap paint job done on it. It's on my fix-it list.

oren, i believe there are a couple plugs on the side of the block that you have to take out to flush the cooling system properly. if you are going to mix the coolant yourself then don't forget to use distilled water and not tap water. while you are flushing the system you should also check your thermostat.

when i do a coolant flush on anything, i use John Deere 50/50 premix, it comes in 2.5 gallon jugs, and seeing as how good of a job it does keeping a 300,000 dollar combine cool, i figure it good overkill for Maroon

Took off the front calipers and clean and re lubed the sliders. Pulled the rear drums and gave them a good wash with brake clean. And finally pulled apart the passenger side sticky adjuster and clean it up nice.
