i recently did the Intake Plenum plate and gasket with the kit from Hughes Engines, and replaced a busted temp sensor. next on the list is the brake issue

 

Poked around under the hood of the dakot this morning. Noticed something spliced into the IAT sensor wiring. It said 'White lightnin perfomance module" on it. I rolled my eyes and clipped the wires. Truck runs better now, no bogging or hesitation down low like it had before.

 

Checked the plenum???

with diesels it's: you check for boost leaks? you check fuel pressure?

Put gas in it after running around town. Was going to buy another matching light to put on my bar...no luck. Tried two different places to find 100w 4200k bulbs for my lights....no luck.


My last stop was Walmart. Got my batteries.

 

Hauled a cord of wood to the back yard to be split today. Almost ready for winter...

 

Got the tranny out this afternoon. Had a 2008 date writen on the inside of the bell housing so somebody has already been into it. Can only hope they didnt **** it all up but it would be nice if a band just came loose and don't need a full rebuild

twisted my trans cross member to **** a couple months back and replaced it with a 4wd cross member i bed lined...

 

Modded my throttle body, pulled the kegger and finished getting my JY kegger ready to go on. Broke my oil pressure sending unit getting the EGR tube unscrewed. It was a fairly new one too, oh well, I'll replace it when the trucks running again.
