fixed the passenger exhaust leak on my pace setter shorty headers today with seal 4 good gaskets made by TAYLOR

 

i've put a USC alumni sticker on my truck today. It was nice. now, i wish i had more money. I found a set of side steps in Greenville / clemson for 100 bux, and dont ahave the cash to buy and drive to greenville. ;(

 

Bought a new pair rockford fosgate of 6x9s for the front doors. My new ashtray also arrived today. I bought it to replace the one I broke off with my knee cap during the accident. Wish I would have noticed it was black instead of grey when I bought it. But ohh well the rest of the trim, vents, and bezel are black.

also there is a craigslist ad for a edelbrock camshaft and lifter kit new unused for $200 but the only part number he could give me returned nothing in my we search. It was E117177. So hes supposed to be looking for his original order form to see what it says.

 

Got into the tranny yesterday, couple broken clips. Over all in bad shape. Whoever rebuilt this didn't do a good job, or the previous owner beat the living daylights out of this truck trying to hot rod it. Anyway, couldn't find the parts I needed for it so I just bought a new rebuilt one from jasper. That was an easy $1050....

I think the total I've put into this truck is around $2500 since I bought it a few months ago

 

Changed the oil with some cheap stuff to hep flush it out, pretty dirty, and went to the gas station; HOLY %@&@ lol, I still had over 1/4 tank and it still took 98 liters! Thought I had a 26 gallon tank, I guess not!

 

no more exhaust leaks from manifolds!!!!

 

Installed my Rockford fosgates. I bad to make a 3/16" spacer due to the magnet bottoming out on the window track. I made it out of some all weather floor mat material I had laying around. They sound badass! I also installed my new k & n filter today. Now im off to shop for some headers for both of my trucks. I can only afford to buy whichever set is cheapest though and seeing as how I just bought a edelbrock intake for my sierra I thiink some headers are in order for it, should be a nice combo.

 

Put air in the tires and gas in the tank.
