What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
Well took her offroading doing some mini jumps and mild offroading on the road Border Patrol uses until they started following us from a distance. And while dropping a friend off at his house in the country watched a sheriff get pulled out of a ditch by an under cover Ford dually. Goondess I can only imagine how he got down there. It looked like the same deputy who gave me my mudflap warning.
I actually got a few things done:
1. Found a perfect set of 2011 17" Ram wheels with nice tires for just $300!
2. Had the wheels put on and sat with my mechanic to plan the tranny rebuild involving heavy duty parts to allow for motor work.
3. Finally found the rear tailgate molding in a junkyard for only $6 and bought some legitimate molding tape from Pep-boys.
4. Installed the molding and began detailing the interior and finally the exterior.
5. Meguiars Tire Shine to close up shop and today has been a pretty good day!
Next week, a new dashboard and HOPEFULLY I get lucky and am able to buy the 4foglight bumper from LMC TRUCK!

Been a month or so since I replaced my intake/plenum fix (for the third time). Noticed that my truck was idling a bit rough, like it usually does when oil is in my intake. So took a peek in there and its still eating oil. Gonna switch back to an advance auto parts brand pcv valve and see how that works over the dealer one.
Come spring time, I'm likely gonna finance a 3rd gen and not have to take care of my s**tbox anymore.
