CSXfan, why don't you break out the dremel and rattle can the rust spots for a temp fix until you can get a paint job. i've had a couple small spots of rust on mine from rock dings and tree branches and thats what i do. if its small i break out the touch up paint after a dremel session.
I figure the fender is too far gone to make it worth grinding and painting. Same thing with the doors. The inside of the fender is completely rusted over. If I wanted to I could easily push a screwdriver through it, even through the spots that don't have bubbles on the outside yet . I also can't find a touch up paint that is even close to matching the color of my truck. I may try this method on the tailgate since it's not as noticeable. I'm just gonna wait until next spring to replace the fender (the drivers side has already been replaced because I couldn't stand the amount of rust that was on it)
Redneck343, I also blame the squirrel, but I blitzed one on the highway yesterday at 75mph so I think my truck has been avenged.
Hey! Don't be all negative like, you should of seen my truck before its Restoration, A little kitty hair can go a long ways! Oh and to that Squirrel that you hit, Checkmate.
haha, i barely make the carwash clearance, i went yesterday, after a drive across the state i had love bugs caked on the front of my truck. you could always just take them down. or buy 2 of these http://www.rightchannelradios.com/cb...cking-271.html
