eeeeeyyyyyyyYup, thats how you drive them fancy flat keeled bass boats on them fancy a** trailers.

This old tub is 70 something AMF v bottom. On Northen lakes its as common as Walleye, and with the docks up there next to the ramp, its as easy as stepping out of the boat and guiding it on the trailer. Down here with the river currents and being narrow and side heavy, its a misguided PITA. Top if off with no tongue to walk on per se, a captain who's never loaded a boat without a dock next to the ramp, and the first mate (me) with enough knowledge to be dangerous and >splash< wet cold feet.

We're goin' boatin'...

I changed my oil with Amsoil, and used a amsoil filter, and put 20's on my 99 Ram 1500.

thats how all people do it around here. we cpuld have 5 people on the boat and in a river all we do is one person gets the truck and everyone goes in the back and bang were are out. if you know what your doing its a one shot deal, line up up stream and go forward and sideways at the same time.

Just got mine the other day so I have a lot of work to do..

Today, I cleaned up the head/marker/tail lights, wired in 2 off-roading lights, took out 2 old ones from the previous owner, cleaned the interior/exterior, and got all the rust out of the hitch (which he apparently very seldomly used).

Tomorrow, I want to try to pull the bow out of the front of the bed, drill in holes for a toolbox and put it on. One day soon I have to replace the O2 sensor.. Probably will try to soak it in something tomorrow for a few days to get it loose.

Finally did kegger mod and pan gasket replacement.

My buddy at the parts store tried to sell me a supercharger, that being out of my budget I went to the paint isle and got the next best thing.
