ya, i twisted the terms. on the relay to ensure a tight fit, it did it again today, and i pulled the relays and put them back in...and nothing. but then i just unpluged the pcm and plug it back in, then bam all my gauges came back, and she started right up. i think my pcm might be faulty. which was also a suspect. but we got a didge thats the exactsame thing, other than the slt pkg. 5.2 auto 4x4 club cab, except its a 96 though. it should work as long as the service tag numbers match right?

in that case you should get some contact cleaner and clean the contacts on the pcm plugs. its worth a shot.

Washed, waxed, cleaned and touched up the wheel wells and front differential. Drove out to the Jenks airport, checked out the B-17 on display.
Still trying to decide is I'm going to an all Mopar show next Saturday, or take the boat out one last time.

I was gonna enter the truck, hence the prepwork. I was hoping to meet a couple folks from anther forum who will be racing at the host track. Entry is sorta steep even though its also a charity event, and the gf isn't enthused about going. Talk about a buzzkill...

Boat would need less prep and going would make gf happier. After all its her boat. But I have to help get it launched and back on the trailer, and that means bustin' my nuts and getting cold wet feet.

or do it the southern way, drive the boat on the trailer. otherwise known as power loading (ithink) and you dont get wet. lol.

if you play the cards right she might make all that cold wet feet, and ball bustin worth it.

i thought thats how everyone loaded a boat. just line up and ramp it. then clip the winch to the eyelet on the front of the boat and walk up the tongue of the trailer, into the bed and onto the ground to pull it out.

im thinking i may have to invest in a car cover bc my truck is no longer driven much....and the clear coat on the roof is gone like a freight train.
