it was yesterday but i finally put my transmission pan back on with the moper gasket and put 8 quarts of the red stuff in. its still reading low. i'll get it right today.

you get a lot more fluid out if you drain the pan then put it back on and let it sit for 3 days. i bet i had 1 1/2 to 2 quarts in there when i took it off the second time.

oh, and i have my spare throttle body at the machine shop... i left it there last night because it got late. i'm about to go finish my poor man here in a little bit.

and i'm going to make my little skid plates for my reverse lights while i'm there.

I started gringing out the crappy bubbling bondo repair job from PO and fibergassed and epoxied everything. The lower doors were bondoed so I decided to herculine the rockers when done with sealing all seams with epoxy...got one side done and herculined today....truck goes to shop tomorrow the have diff bearings changed so hope the nice weather holds out when I get it back to finish the drivers side...

Well, I took my TB off to clean it "real quick" but ended up dropping it on it's TPS. So off to Napa. I bought one for 45 bucks (saved 5 bucks with my AAA card). so 2 hours later real quick turned into real long. Long story short, take all the sensors off when you clean your TB so you don't break anything.

Fire wood! Loaded her down with wood and the log splitter. I had the bump stops on the rear crushed a bit. We where on a hill and I'm sure when I put the splitter on the back its didn't help any.
