What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
cut a big hole in my exhaust pipe right before my muffler. just took a makita cutter/grinder tool with a metal cutting disc to the pipe and took out the full width of the pipe half way through for a length of about 1/4 inch. Sounds good and took about 2 seconds off my 0-60. Next is rip off my old serpentine belt and engine fan. 20-25 will replace the old belt, and hopefully no more than 30 bucks to get a new electric radiator fan and switch to replace to old shiznit.
Had to replace my battery today. The previous owner of my truck put a cheap car battery in it and when my gauge started climbing towards 18 I desided to have it tested and of course the battery was going. I went to shucks and had it tested, he said it was putting out somewhere around 360 cranking amps. So I went to les schwab and picked up a pretty good batter that was a fair bit bigger then the battery that was in it when I got it. The new battery is like 1/4 to 1/2 and inch taller and about an inch longer then the old one. Here in about a week I should get my temp probs and wiring set up and in maybe two weeks, I'll have my electric fans installed.
Nice and shiny now... Only think I didn't do is shine the tires. There's dirt lying across the road both ways off my road so putting tire shine on is pretty counter productive...

Took my newly purchased Ram (01 1500 4x4 quad, 55k) on a 630 mile road trip to Chicago and back to hunt down a car for a broke collegekid. Did it in just under 2 full tanks of gas.
Got lines on a matchingcap for my truck for $100, and a Flowmaster Catback system for $300. That'll be next weekend, hopefully.
