I washed and waxed, installed Bully side steps, installed the XM radio I saved from my previous Ram before it burned to the ground and installed an XM radio ant. without drilling any holes in the truck.

 

Pulled the fuel injectors and cleaned them in a sonic bath, wrapped the fuel rails with Thermo-Tec Ultra tape, tried tomatch paint on the dash cover to the existing dash and failed.[:@] Didn'tever realize the dash board is actually darker than the pillars anddorr panels.

 

pulled off iac and cleaned it to try and stop cold idle surge. we'll see if it cleaning it does any good or not. replaced headlight bulbs with silverstar ultra. autozone has a $10 rebate on them . wasn't as bright as i expected. cleaned headlight lens with dremel buffing tool and rubbing compound. some better. adjusted lights up a couple rounds. a little more better. the brite-box is still the best thing i ever bought. it makes it like daylight on brights. removed 2 hitch ***** from bumper. washed it, incl engine and underneath. tighted up the bolt holding the grab handle on passenger side.

 

Well, since I just picked up my 99 two days ago, I changed Diff fluids to Royal Purple 75W140, changed tranny fluid/filter, changed transfer case fluid, changed engine oil for Royal Purple full Syn and oil filter, cut off nasty rusted exaust tips, changed the serpentine belt, and patched an exaust leak. PHEW!

Next weekend: balljoints.

 

I installed my roll bar, wired all the lights on it, and put on my black painted grille.

 

Washed the outside of the truck because I went mudding this weekendbut still need to clean the inside and the engine.

 

took the ram out deer hunting all weekend, came home with a pretty nice whitetail buck. rack is 7x5 with 16.5 inch inside spread, one of the rear tines is broken, but the others measured 9.5 inches. fielddressed the deer weighed 215 lbs.brother in law is a taxidermist so he's gonna hook me up with a deal on the mount.

CHanged the oil, lubed the front end, replaced tranny filter and fluid, (splurged and bought the Valvoline ****) welded the tip on under the truck, got tired of changing the song to find my truck is alot louder, and then having to retrace my steps to get the tip off the side of the road, or out of the vineyards...

 

I haven't had to do anything to my rig in a while except wash it.
I did buy a diff filler plug, but I haven't take the 5 secs to put it in yet.
