Mine doesn't hit overdrive until 49-50 mph thanks to the Superchips tuner.
It used to engage around 40 if I was being easy on the go pedal.

Did the same thing to mine a few months back! looks like new again haha

As for today, I finally took mine down to the carwash and sprayed a winters worth of salt and junk of it, it needed it badly!

Got my sct tuner from hemifever today Only had time to install the 87 economy tune and drive about 5 mile to haul trash off. The truck did seem to respond better in the lower rpm and wot acceleration was improved alot, pulling hard all the way to 5000 rpm shift to 2nd and 3rd. It is going to be fun playing with the 93oct performance tune since the econo made such a difference.

It was 75 here today, and since it will be in the 20's with ice and snow next week, I hosed off the underside. Then I checked and added fluid to the transfer case.
Topped off the tranny, straightened the skid plate and pressure washed it. I think I'll get it powder coated.

Put some very much needed wipers on 'er today. The Bosch icon series wipers....amazing compared to what I think may have been the stockers from 2001 lol. And they were buy one, get one 50% off. So 30$. Not sure, my dad had it garaged every night before I owned it, so doubt if he ever needed new wipers.

But, in even better news, got a text tonight, while at the casino, some guy in my town has a bed bar for my shortbox, and is willing to give it up for $100. So meet up with him tomorrow, and I'm praying they're in good shape. Says they're stainless, but if they're dinged up, might just fix 'em and use the ol' roll on bedliner over them. Make 'em black. We'll see. Opinions? Stainless or black bars all around? bed/ roll bar, light bar, nerf bars and bully bar,
