Squeaked out some time to replace driver side cylinder, bled the mofo, did the VWDodger adjuster trick. Done!
Daylight ran out before could do passenger side. Probably Sunday for that one. |

Passenger side done. Used the 2 little feet of my girls to help bleed. Was a treat.
Looks like I'll be doing the wheel cylinder's too. |

I noticed a leaking wheel cylinder on the rear driver side. It's not leaking onto the ground yet but I'm sure it will before too long.

I siphoned out what was supposed to be 91 octane gas and put in Chevron 94, cleaned the fuel rails, injectors and checked the pcm connection. The truck has earned a new name Fussy B*tch. I have made a complaint to Husky Fuel for having dirt and water in their gas, I'll see how far that goes.

Had a nice warm day in NY so I figured I paint my grill. The chrome is starting to bubble up in some places and I may look into getting a new grill in the spring. I used Plasti-dip to paint the grill, came out pretty good.
Attachment 59615 Attachment 59616 Attachment 59617 I like the new look alot.. Now well see how long the plasti-dip stays on. |
