Finally got the truck scheduled for some body work. Lower stripe will be removed, rust sandblasted and repaired, etc. Scheduled for 3 weeks out, but seem to have a hell of a time getting a body guy to keep an appointment. This is now the 4th time I've had it scheduled so we'll see. Easily the most expensive quote, but at this point, I want it done.

 

Cleaned all the carpet, floor mats, seats, etc. with upholstery cleaner and vacuumed her twice...

 

drove it on the farm, pulled a potash wagon back to the CO-OP with it

 

Worked on painting the motor mounts and clear coating the alt bracket. Maybe I will have everything painted before the engine gets back

 

Well, with the new tires, i cant spin em no matter how hard i try, so i guess something had to break loose, and that was the transfer case...... Now what....

 

recharge the a/c just before the weekend

 

waxed the beast

 

-seafoamed it
-changed cap and rotor (man they were bad! only 2.5 years old)
-changed plugs (champion truckplugs- hard to find now)
-changed out battery (old exide was still working but was almost seven yrs old)
-changed out check valve in vacuum line to fix vent issue (haven't tested yet)
