Modded my TB on Saturday...gave me just a shade of mpg...like less than 1. But it did give me better throttle response, and sounds cooler, so it was worth it. Also, cleaning my IAC and port definitely smoothed out the idle. The bad part is, with the TB off, I was able to notice a very minimal bit of oil pooling in the back of the intake. Guess the plenum project is next...

Ugh, man I had a leak underneath mine a few months back. Couldn't ever figure out what it was and it smelled. Finally noticed it was the drainage hose, I'm guessing for the A/C, had crumbled and was leaking inside... Easy fix though. As for what I'm doing today, I just treated my truck with LED instrument lights and modded TB, so she deserves a great wash-n-wax!

Pull the TB and clean the whole thing. It's easier to work on and less chance of dicking something up while hanging yourself over the engine.

Got rid of those stupid metal sleeves around the plugs and put on some DEI heat sleeves instead.
