2001 2500 360 with aux trans cooler and towing package has it mounted behind the ac condensor and in front of radiatior. A/c condensor even has a built in shroud to help channel the incoming air, which i beleive is what my problem was. The stock cooler was rather large, almost the same size as the condensor, the one i replaced it with was half the size. So maybe the shrouds funnel effect did not work as well with the smaller cooler. Anyways it works much better right up front and high in the grill.

Does it look stock? If I had to hazard a guess, I would say aftermarket... Mine is between the radiator and condenser as well.

Well then I guess mine is aftermarket... When I get home I will snap a pic. Wouldn't surprise me as the Trans filter and pan was replaced by previous owner as well. Seems at least like he knew that the Trans have issues. It is a small cooler like 1'x1... Pics to follow

Repaired the cup holder, repaired the driver side quad door that wouldn't open and replaced the connecter on the blend door. Now looking fruitlessly for a fix for the mode 1 diverter door. Saw it a few months back but no joy today. Ugh!

Some idiot pulled the lever that connects the mode door to the vacuum actuator out. I was able to take a dremel and cut a piece out of the plenum to get it back together. Duck taped the plastic I cut out back in to seal everything. Then I found where they swapped the vacuum tubes from the mode 1 and mode 2 actuators. Everything working properly now. Time to put all the dash plastic back on. Fun times!

Well the bottom plastic. The top is toast. I didn't pull that off.

But while we're on that subject, does the plastic dash caps work well?

Couple places sell full replacements. (top part.) LMC Truck, and some other place I can't think of just offhand. Some you can get in the right color, others, ya gotta paint to match.
