i know but the 650 came on the truck when i bought it and i got the 670 for free. if i could get a smaller carb that was not going to cost about $400 i would. for now i just have to make do with what i got. i was almost thinking about swapping on a 2 barrel carb.

 

Ordered a Magnaflow y pipe, since headers aren't making the cut for now I thought I'd go with the next best thing and get a y pipe.

 

Cleaned the inside of the truck yesterday and just by using armor all and a rag, I cracked the dash further....

Damn you cheap plastic that dodge used on the dashes! Starting at the windshield and its gonna **** me off before too long. I also might take my fender flares off today depending on what the wheel wells look like under them. Kinda scared to take them off and find rusted out wheel wells...

Only time will tell... I'll post up some pics if I do

Hooked up the heater core, we'll have heat for the trip.

 

running up to 160k been running it alot, saving for somerthing else for when my kid gets here .

Follow up... Under fender flares lies hidden rust... Now I gotta make a decision... Sell now or keep it for the remaining two years of loan and try not to sink too much money into it.

I might as well sell it now with the low miles on it and get another dodge vehicle... What to do...

 

What about fixing the rust?

 

That is an option I guess but an expensive one at that. I got quoted 1K to just cut out rust of cab corners and rockers and weld in new and prime. I need all the wheel wells patched now too, pretty bad bubbling under all of them...
