Getting the 76 inspected today!

State inspection here in Texas.

 

For what? Oh yeah.. Emissions, right? At least we don't have to do that in Iowa.., Yet.

 

I drove it over an hour to a junkyard just to turn around and come home.. Apparently the 5.9 they said they had yesterday was never really there...

 

Nope. We don't have emissions around here. Safety inspection.



I wish I could see the guy's face when he hits the brakes and it puts him into the steering wheel.

 

LOL... Safety inspection? Didn't know there was such a thing for non-commercial vehicles.

 

Yep. Makes sure your brakes are adequate, lights work, tires are alright, and wipers working.


That is the simple version.

 

So my dad had gone and took Lemon Drop to the shop for the inspection....the guy that did the inspection loved the truck!
That makes me happy. The brakes nearly put him into the steering wheel like I expected. Apparently I have to do something with the horn, doesn't work that well, but it passed.

I'm happy.

12:30 there will be a nice smoke-show. I seafoamed it.
