I took the 76 out for a drive. A new steering gear, shocks/springs, and working A/C and that truck could almost be a daily driver.
In other news, Lemon Drop is up to 7 mpg. That's almost better than my Ram in town.

The Dodge gasser got $200 some fillups regularly, while it got close to 20MPG highway on longs trips, towing was a killer, at about 6MPG, even the Fordg 460 gets better than that...

35 gallon tanks are a killer to fill. I am amazing the MPG is above 5 now. I haven't been idling it much, just driving.
