^Same here. EDIT: Also, you say you don't get out much? I was washing my truck today and my neighbor walked over to ask why I was washing it since I never go anywhere to get it dirty, lol.

Only thing I've gotten stolen off my truck was the plastic piece that goes around my tailgate handle.

Yes you can get another one at the auto parts place. Just remember, short of welding the thing on, if someone wants it bad enough, they will get it. Trick is try and make it difficult and/or time consuming. No thief wants to loiter around when trying to steal something.

1; This Tuesday, I pulled everything out from under the truck, gas tank and back to install the Dana 60 and new leaf-springs, brake lines and so on. Made it all the way to the last two shackle bolts and that brought me to a dead stop for changing out the springs. They were free last fall but not now seized solid in the bushings. I had no spare parts on hand so I had to put it back together until new parts get in. 10hrs + in labour down the drain because I never checked those bolts like I should have. I will only have to redo half the job this time around as I did get the 60 installed and all plumbed up.

2; Not checking for myself that I need a bigger master cyld for the bigger brakes on the 60's.

For me it's just the opposite, the harder you make it to take that part off the more damage they will do trying to get that part. If they want my plate take it, all I need to do is report it to the law and go get a new plate. For the stereo and just under the dash, it has a few nicely placed fish hooks under there, put your hand up there and it will not be fun.

True I guess if it's like an overnight theft, or your parked in a secluded spot or something, I was referring to like a parking lot at a fair or a mall or something like that, where there are lots of people around.

Yea I was thinking overnight theft. We are lucky enough that we don't have that kinda stuff going on where we live, living in the styx sometimes has its pluses.

^Yeah? What's your point?
Only problem I see is the fact that they came with a 5-speed manual, not a 4-speed.
