Comin down the mountain last night, some idiot slammed their brakes for a dang possum when they had a whole line of traffic behind em.

My luck, I slammed on mine and a damn brake line busted. I hurried and shifted to drive 2 then to drive 1 to stop.

How much do these things cost to get replaced?

Got home today from the Jamboree I was at that this weekend. Saw Reba there, that was pretty cool!

I got a couple.

Went to jack up the back of the truck to put some blocks in, well I put the jack sideways to the truck lifting by the hitch instead of longways. Well its caused the truck to be lifted but off center of the axle and made lining up blocks requiring me to slide my axle over and the whole time the axle just wanted to spin and support itself on the drive shaft. Took me an extra hour and some extra help.

Went to change speedo gear, truck was in grass and slightly front end high, read that slight amount of fluid may come out when replacing so hopped under truck with just a ratchet. needless to say I had tranny fluid all over my arms as I was trying to re-tighten as quickly as possible. Spun the truck around and all was good with some rags.
