Also they use 8.5:1 compression so that doesn't help at all... With a small turbo and stock cubes I will be putting down 350hp and 650 tq with ease with a 460.

Oh my goodness stop talking about all the crap you are going to do to your ford and just frickin' do something. After you have actually done something then you may come back and educate everyone with all the boring details that no one actually cares about.

Yeah I'm on several Ford forums.

Join one and see why I mention some stuff over here.

My original post mentioning Fords was only to prove a point, not to bring up a discussion about them.

Ford used NP435 4spd's, so did dodge. they are very hard to hurt.
Oh yes you are right lol... I got my numbers mixed up as I figured Ford used a NP 204, they are good transfer cases as well, the 4spd trannys are almost impossible to damage.

Most of the big blocks back when they were more common... were SEVERLY detuned, and didn't make numbers much better than their small block counterparts. That applies to ALL the manufacturers. I mean, seriously, 250 horses from a 454???? That's IT????? WTF?

Say "thank you" to your 'friends' at the EPA.......

That will never happen. Industry couldn't survive without it. Gas can only do so much

Diesel is here to stay. The more restrictions the EPA puts out, the more negative environmental impact they will have.
