What American Accent do You Have?
I'm 93% Inland North and proud of it. The only difference is I sometimes drink "soda", not pop.
You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

also do not call carbonated beverages "pop"
don't even really call it "soda" either.. I call it mtn dew! or dr pepper

Go to *any* dining establishment, food court, roach coach, and wherever else beverages are sold in Oklahoma and you'll witness the following:
"What kind of drink?"
"Uhh....a coke."
"What flavor?"
"Dr Pepper."
