that and we already know Chevy 4x4 IFS is garbage

though the IFS 2wd's aren't bad. My S10 has some pretty beefy front IFS setup..

Quote: Yup. Really. I can punch it from a stop and it'll just go, no spin or very little. Even when it's wet out. Sometimes I can get it to power brake though, but not all the time.

I think a lot of it has to do with I know it was used for towing a lot before I got it and now I work the hell out of it. It's probably just a little tired. Still gets the job done though, so I can't argue.
Mine is a dog to accelerate until I reach 2250RPM (it makes best power between 2250 and 3000RPM, then the next power band is around 4500RPM). I love my N4500, but it really could use a gear between 1st and 2nd. I get better MPGs in 4th gear than overdrive because of where the power band is (if I'm on the interstate I'll run in 5th). However when towing just about any load in 4th I never have to downshift on the hills, it has amazing lugging power like I never thought it could have.

Mind you, I've determined the power band by the butt dyno... Speaks for itself well enough, if the butt dyno don't like it somethings wrong...
