So drove back to Independence today... GraybaR moved quick after the initial phone questionnaire and scheduled a formal interview the same day, interview went good Monday, they said the candidates selected would receive an email to begin the background check process, I gave it 3 days and didn't hear anything.

Youngest daughter was missing daddy so I decided to come home.

There are some employment opportunities with Fairfax County, and they pay pretty good for what they are, so I'm going to look into that.

I've been very impressed with the Ram's performance on the trips to/from NOVA. Good mileage, lots of passing power in overdrive, climbed several inclines in the fast lane while holding 80MPH in overdrive with ease....

 

I used to make that trip from SWVA to DC about twice a month on 81 to 66 to 95. Not that bad of a drive, till you hit the traffic..lol

 

Yup, traffic is the worst part but I've been lucky so far....

Long stretch of I81 though, 50ish miles on 66East....
