Oh man dropping weight for wrestling. I'm dropping it to be a jockey. Same ordeal. One of my friends was a professional wrestler till he couldn't even kill himself to lose weight. But he's a big guy too...
Any rate that's pretty much what I'd figured out too. I'm 5'7", in summertime I weigh around 115lbs without any effort on my part and eating normally... I'm hypermetabolic so should be easier for me than other people. The honest truth is I've gotta weigh 101-102lbs to ride races, at least when I start, once I lose my weight allowance for being an apprentice I'll be able to weigh 110-115, so I don't think it'll be TOO difficult. I'm pretty sure I can get down to 105 by just dieting and exercise, but below that is gonna have to be water weight. I mean, I probably could lose some below that, but if I lose more body reserves, it'd be safer to lose some water weight.
The rule of thumb I've figured out: If it tastes good, don't eat it. Lol.
BTW, what'd your parents think?
How cheap is cheap lol?

I'm a larger guy. 190-200, 215 during football season but I wrestled 182. I normally ate three meals a day, except for the night before a match or tournament. I drank a lot of water too. They were ok with it. Dad more so than mom who always tried to get me to eat more lol
How cheap? We'll I REALLY want a NV4500. So if you want to get rid of it we can try to work out a deal.

Man you are big! Ya'd squash me in a heartbeat. Weighed myself tonight, 125lbs. Lost 3 lbs yesterday. Lol. I always weigh myself AFTER a meal and at night, I've been told you're heavier at night than in the morning, which I have found to be true. That way I have a little room to wiggle, if you get what I'm saying.
Anybody else? Thought for certain with all those weight loss ads we'd have more people who know how to sucessfully lose weight! ROFL!

So Texas teen (drunk, under 21) that killed 4, left one a vegetable, and injured another gets off with 10 years probation because his parents are wealthy and never set limits for the kid.....
WTF!!!
Is Texas becoming Florida or is Florida becoming Texas?

1000 lbs? For a pair of bumpers? I doubt it. 500 lb's a bumper would be excessive. If they are overbuilt and extremely stout you should be looking at 300lbs per bumper max. Probably more like 150-200lbs in reality.
To give you an idea my old bumper that I had on my Power Wagon then on my '95 Ram was all 1/4" steel with tubing used for the rounded edges. 1/4" is more than big enough, and most builders use 3/16". I could pick mine up and walk around with it, so it couldn't have been more than 200lbs.
