I have been building a stroker I6 for my jeep, and today I finally got the long block complete. Lots of hiccups in the process, but that's how everything always is for me. Here's my latest pics. Enjoy.

Used my new tupperware for the first time yesterday.

Made some progress with engine assembly today.

The original valvecover bolts were breaking at 10 ft-lbs so I went to the store and picked up grade 8 bolts and washers and put them in at 12 ft-lbs. Adds some bling so it was definitely worth it. (That was a joke)

Yea, not so little after stroking it out though! 4.0L is 242cid, my 4.6L engine is now 280 cid. Ford put 281 cid 4.6's in mustangs and trucks for over a decade!

No, I can't pull that off. My chest isn't fuzzy enough to give the reindeer whiskers.

they still do...

but it is a V8 not an inline 6 lol.

they also used to make a 289ci v8

you and your 12v's

put some head studs on there, get a thick head gasket on there, and put a turbo on it
