Going to be looking at this old M135 6x6 on the weekend, he has two to look at this one and a bobbed one with no motor or xcase, but he has a IH motor tarnny and xcase that would fit in it. I have no spec's on the IH stuff until I see it this weekend.http://classifieds.castanet.net/deta..._truck/689535/

I need something bigger around the camp, he has the snowplow blade and a pto winch for the front so thats a plus. I have to admit it will be fun to play with as well. Winter truck for next year so the dodge does not get used.Originally Posted by Thornloe Pride

They had snow plows for the deuce and a halfs? Now THAT would be a plow truck.
You don't need to jack it up. There is enough ground clearance to sit up, and work on whatever you want under there.

A 67 year old man was beat to death by an 18 year old male in an apartment building last night in my town. He confronted the young man around 2am because his music was too loud. What is the world coming to???

Welcome to the handbasket.
Well darn, looks like these M135 trucks use a air over hydraulic single circuit brake system and it seems that ICBC has deemed these illegal for use on the roads in BC. I am waiting on a call from my inspection mech to see if I can upgrade the brake system, but I am not holding my breath for that to be a yes I can. Looks like my hunt continues for a Canadian ex-military truck.
Edit: I can not import a ex-military US truck into Canada so thats out.
Edit 2: Well it looks like it will pass inspection with those brakes and I can upgrade the system if I like.....................Cool. Let the parts hunt begin.

If I buy them boy do I have lots of work ahead of me, I must remove all the military lights and replace them with just truck lights, no military tires can be used, must pass a full commercial vehicle inspection. Then as they have no registration paperwork/trail I have to go through that process as well. It might be more work than they are worth.
