I have a nitro r/c truck and 2 nitro r/c cars and then my other baby which is a 2003 stang. I use the stang for long trips. saves on gas and is more fun to drive cause its a stick.

Only other 'toy' I have is my computer. (Yes, I am a PC gamer....) I can't afford the gas powered toys...... aside from a chainsaw anyway......

Default lets fix something besides the dodge

yeah i know, it belongs in off topic, but nobody every reads those.

tired of working on cars, lets do something else....

everyone else is working on wedding invitations. my daughter just graduated from Ga Tech and moved back home for a couple of weeks before the wedding and all her stuff is stacked up in the garage. reckon what's broken?

item #1, clothes steamer - was tripping the breaker. it has a water reservoir, a heater buried down inside, and an outlet pipe for the steam. tested resistance on the plug blades with switch on and off. no dead short, that's good. plug it in and turn it on. no trip. add some water. a little noise, no steam. rinsed the reservoir out and got some mildew out of the little port in the bottom. poured in some ammonia and rinsed. blew it out with an air hose. a ton of mildew came out. looked it over some more and found a reset button. pushed it. poured in some water, plugged in, turned on - STEAM, HOT STEAM, burnt my hand.

ok, that's fixed, what else you got ?

item #2 vacuum cleaner - not sucking up dirt, overheating, smelling hot. ok, this will be easy. lets start by cleaning the solid half inch of dirt off the filter. next, lets see, how about cleaning the solid half inch of hair off the beater bar. next, remove the bottom plate and find the pickup hose. yep, its stopped up solid. remove it and get out the beer bottle caps and unstop the entire foot long hose. reassemble. works fine now.

let's have a beer.

Despite your unwillingness to put this in OT, I shall move it to that thread for you.
