Lol@Maroon. I thought something was a little ripe.

Windjammer sucks. Bottom line. They bought Comcast's lines up here, but their speeds are half the subscribed 5Mbps, their DNS servers keep failing (I'm using OpenDNS now..), and the internet will stall out for a couple of seconds then come back.. Had a couple of days of very patchy service.

that sounds like windstream. i was getting 1.5mbps and a couple months ago i looked at their website and the lowest speed available was 3mbps. i called and was told "yes you can get 3mbps but it will cost you twice as much as you are paying now." i was like "wtf, you don't even have 1.5 available"
either way we bundled the dsl with dish network and now i'm getting 3mbps.

Ya'll are complaining about 5Mbit being slow... LOL Try using a 512Kb
And it's a true wireless system, if the wind changes direction, we lose internet on the network. :icon_shrugs:

Oren- I thought you were going to have a story about a tow cable or something like that. We don't have Comcast down here. Only Mediacom and Sudden Link. Well, and of course ATT
