i like classics just not "Hair Metal" I like Zeppelin, Hendrix, Skynard, Black Sabbith(both Ozzy and Dio versions) among others. But i think one of the best bands of all time is Tool

No worries, jarhead. Although I was good friends with Rikki and Bret back then and was Rikki's drum tech, I was never a fan of the band. I was deep in the middle of the Hollywood rock/Harley scene back in the day and used to be in the clubs on the Sunset Strip every night (lived right above it). I listen to a lot of different music (mostly alternative, including Tool), but when I hear some of that old "hair band" stuff it makes my skin crawl. Just not into reliving the past, I guess.
BTW, that's not Rikki in the pic. That's me during sound check in San Diego in 1990 when I still had hair. The drum set is one I painted and assembled for Rikki and can be seen in the Unskinny Bop and Ride the Wind videos.
