I just learned that my oldest son (34), while conducting a "routine" traffic stop in Love County, Oklahoma, escaped serious injury when a suspected drunk driver struck the rear of his patrol vehicle.
Why is it that some people decide to drive after they have been drinking and put the lives of others in danger (if they don't give a hang about their own, I don't either).
I like to have a good Scotch every once in a while, and a couple of beers.....but I am at home (or wherever I will be staying for the night). Please do not drink and drive. The life you save may be your own.....or my son's.....or yours! (slowly stepping off of soapbox now....)
