I have hit a very rough spot financially... Trucks up for repo and Idk if I will be able to convince the bank to give me another extension.. way I figure I only got one choice and that's to start selling things.. I have to try and keep a roof over 4 heads and that's tough to do not working.. figure the trans gettin sold will buy me another month or 2..

There is good money to be made in metal hauling. Back when I first arrived at Tinker AFB there wa a guy driving a beater S10 with a modified cage covering the bed. He was retired military and hit the dumpsters each day recovering aluminum cans. I don't know how long it was after that (a few months or so) and next thing there he was a with a shiny new S10 with a modified cage. Paid cash for it from his metal collection.
In tough economic times one has to be extremely resourceful. I've seriously considered quitting my job when my house is paid off in a couple of years just to pick up aluminum and scrap metal.
+1 on that, scrapping is a great way to get some extra dough. I work with a guy at advance who will save all the old metal wiper blades, brake parts, anything metal that people leave at the store to be trashed....gives him a lil extra pocket money. Keep your head up big guy you'll get through it.
