Turning rotors is a waste and always has been. I want as much meat on them as possible.

if you have to get the rust off a brand new $120 rotor that has been on a truck for who know's how long it is not a waste. i would rather spend the money getting a rotor turned than drop $120 on a new rotor.

when i got my 81 it looks like someone had installed a new rotor and caliper on the one side. the pads looked brand new compared to the pads i pulled off the other side and have even more pad on them than the brand new pads i had just bought for the truck. it looks like someone had forgot to bleed the brakes on that new caliper so the breaks did not wear on the one side. rotor had sat for a couple years with that brand new rotor but had rusted enough it had to be turned or replace before i could put the truck on the road.

More of a rant

For those semi-truck drivers that feel the need to ride my back bumper at 100kph watch it I am back to carrying C cell batts that will go out the window if you don't back off. And what's with all the plastic bottles full of pee being thrown out the window???? What happened to all the so called professional drivers out there???

I used to have a lot of respect of semi drivers not anymore.

The large majority of professional drivers are OK. There are always a few exceptions. And that aint pee, it's Gatorade, but don't drink it.

Buddy I have picked up these bottles and it's not Gatorade it's human waste!!! You might have better drivers down there (and I hope you do) but up here nope most don't even speak English. If they feel the need to disrespect my country by throwing human waste out there window they can go back to where ever they came from.

I drive everyday and I don't see drivers throwing bottles of pee out of the window but I do see drivers tailgating trying to "push" folks out of the way.... especially the sand and gravel trucks.

^^^ I would say 2 bottles per 1 km on the side of the road. I have to keep the ditch clean in front of the campground and man it's disgusting what I find there every day. Trying not to cross the line here but it's not the white drivers doing this. I have a friend that's a HD mech he's telling me that they (the drivers) are cutting holes in the sleeper floor to relive themselves so they don't have to stop, WTF is that all about.

Time restraints maybe? Afraid to not get the max driving hours in before they have to stop and rest? Or maybe they're just lazy SOBs....

Network Admin finally got the internet fully operational, so now I don't have to use my Android for everything!
