Well guys, failed attempt to get to Galax to pickup the old lady from work.

Nothing has been plowed and the blacktop is SLICK. Had to turn back.

I told her to call in, but no. It's her own fault Roads here are mess, it would be a challenge even with 4wd.

I've got her a ride home though with my stepfather's dad, problem is he works for the for the phone company and isn't sure what time they'll let him off, been working them late into the night lately...

I would probably even go for it with chains but it's icing in Galax, and I've got all 4 kids with me, so probably not the best idea.
