getting good fuel pressure to the injection pump?
injector could also be suffering from too low of a pop pressure and might need a rebuild..
I don't know how to tell a stuck injector.Originally Posted by Jigabop

Good fuel pressure? I think so. Priming doesn't help at all.
i know when I rev it up it smokes bad. Above 900RPM it runs smooth but gulps fuel and I'm not kidding on that.
I found out that pulling the fuel shut off **** out half way and cranking for about 6 seconds then pushing it in and trying twice to start it again and it often but not all times will start. The shut off mechanism is adjusted properly. Also it kept backfiring at me when I gave it ether.

You're probably right. Using thumbtacks to hold a condom to the door isn't exactly um.... safe....Originally Posted by crazzywolfie

And it just gets worse and worse. It's got good fresh fuel too.

its not a gasoline. it runs on compression alone. if it has glow plugs, those are probably lighting off the ether early...
as for injectors you would need to pull them and take them to an injector shop and have them pop test them.
that will tell you if its a bad injector.

I know it's not a gasoline. I'm not completely ignorant when it comes to diesels. It doesn't have glowplugs either which is the bad part. Sometime later this year I'm gonna equip it with 'em.Originally Posted by Jigabop

Well pulling the injectors is gonna have to wait for now.
Made a little progress on the RAM today. Got the mount installed now just to get that crossmember in...
