I would like to upgrade to a newer Mac that's running a solid-state drive; however, I have zero use for these newer machines that are coming with one-half Terabyte of storage. My current machine has an 80GB drive of which only ~40GB is being used. I'm not one of those who feels the need to pirate and store Gigabytes of movies and music.

I play games that are moddable, and download a host of mods.... some are rather large..... I think ONE game directory is over 25gb. None of it is pirated, none of it is music.

Not everyone that fills drives is a pirate.

I got so fed up with Windowz machines that I lucked out when I picked up my Mac Mini. There was no way in hell I was going to upgrade to Vista, so I decided my next machine would either be a Mac or Linux powered. The seller had it only six months and decided to upgrade to a Macbook.

My work machine is a Dell with Windows 7, but I doubt I would ever go back to a PC for my home system. The Mac's performance has been flawless. My oldest brother's wife bought him a Macbook for his birthday in 2011 and he swears he'll never go back to a PC.

With that said, enjoy:

Every day, a male employee walks up very close to a female co-worker at the coffee machine.
He stops, inhales quite deeply and says that her hair smells nice.
After a week of this, the woman can't stand it anymore.
She takes her issue to a supervisor in Human Resources and asks to file a Sexual Harassment grievance against the guy.
The supervisor is puzzled and asks, "What's threatening about a co-worker telling you your hair smells nice?"
"It's Frank. The midget."

I run windows (still on XP. ) simply because my games won't run under Mac O/S.

Vista wasn't an "upgrade".......

Win 7 is actually pretty good, but, I still object to Microsoft removing directsound from directx. Turns your nice highdollar hardware accelerated sound card into something no better than onboard chips. There are workarounds for that, but, they are just that, workarounds..... Given that MS is going to drop support for XP soon, and I already can't find printer drivers for my O/S (XP 64 bit.) I am going to have to bite the bullet soon, and 'upgrade' to 7. I don't like 8.

How does Microsoft define an upgrade? Replacing software that doesn't work, with software that doesn't work.. in a different way.
