They spent billions with Perry trying to privatize the roads here and build the Trans Texas Corridor, literally laying over a thousand miles of toll roads from every adjoining state and Mexico, to places where there was not intent to build bridges such as to cross the Red River into Oklahoma! So much for border security! And TX-DOT has been cutting road repairs and maintenance for the last 20 years. New toll roads going up all aroudn Austin (costs me to drive to work each day now!)

Just wait till Texas secedes from the Union, the debt will skyrocket then... Better not come asking the U.S. for more money 
Remember when all those states, like what 7 or 13?, wanted to secede from the Union? There was a report out and most if not all of those states were the MOST dependent on the Federal Government.

Just because TXDOT doesn't know how to manage their **** doesn't mean we can't survive on our own.
Look at Greece.
