4 days of weed eating are killing my wrists and arms.

Having lots of trouble sleeping, arm keeps falling asleep which is pretty damn painful...

Also have this weird feeling in my hand in the morning, when I make a fist I can feel something getting pushed back, towards my forearm, and when I release I can feel stuff moving forward again, actually feels like something is sliding down...

My dad had to have surgery for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and my sister had to have surgery for Trigger Thumb...

Seems hand issues are genetic.....

we had ice like that + snow on top of it a couple years ago...

destroyed out goat shelter under a big tree...almost every branch in that tree broke off due to the weight that was on it...completely demolished the structure...

I spent a whole summer cleaning up my yard at one of my previous houses....... it started out a serious mess. had it looking great by the end of summer...... that winter, and ice storm rolled thru, and come spring..... it didn't look like I had done a damn thing the previous year.... it was even WORSE. Ended up taking down four or five trees..... and having to smooth out some serious divots in the yard from huge branches trying to find their way to China...... I was not a happy camper.

What's even funnier now is..... My dog, Sophie, (Newfoundland/husky mix) has got to be natures BEST excavating tool..... Holy smoke. I have never seen 70 pounds of dog disappear in a self-made hole so fast....... give her about 30 seconds, and all thats left above ground is her tail....... TRACTOR swallowing holes.

I still don't have a clue what she is digging for.......

So it appears the crazy weather here makes raising exotics a challenge. About a week and a half ago, discovered a mature Ram dead near the fence. On Wednesday, I found this new mother and newborn next to my truck - they weren't there when I went to bed that night. Mother died that morning. Wife called me at work and was nearly in tears (they aren't ours...). Baby has to be bottle fed about every two hours. When ranch hand come out, he discovered another Ram in the middle of the pasture, and he hauled them off. He took baby with him also...it is about the size of a jackrabbit.

So tonight I ran to town, and when I came back, saw two Rams running across the driveway, and one laying against the fence. Had his horn stuck in the fence so I got him out of it but he did not get up. Still alive, but drooling and lethargic. Probably not going to make it unless they load him up with antibiotics.

Seems with the weather getting into the 80's then the 40's and rain, Mouflon sheep are susceptible to pneumonia...

So they have lost four in about 10 days. Herd is about 150.
