my idiot moment...
years ago installing my airdog150, I had to drop the tank, and I couldn't get the quick disconnect fittings unhooked from the fuel canister. ended up breaking the nozzles off and cutting the line for the factory fuel return...figured airdog has its own 1/2" lines and its own return line...
so I drove it for a test drive and almost immediately the check engine light comes on with vp44 death codes.
The injection pump was not happy about its fuel return being blocked off still needed the factory return line.
So I had to jerry rig the return line into the broken canister.
finally this last year it started leaking at that "fixed" return so I replaced the whole canister with a modified liberty fuel module, and replaced the entire factory return line with a brand new one. all is working perfectly now 3 years later
