I have learned that most people that hate and disrespect teachers are usually the ones that refused or failed to learn while they were in school.

My parents were both teachers, and spent the better part of their lives trying to make the lives of children better by education.

A sign on the wall in my dad's office before he retired:

"Ignorance can be fixed - Stupidity is forever."

To get us BACK on the WTF topic: Travis County DA (Austin) arrested and quickly pled guilty to DUI.

Wouldn't do you any good

I spent some time on 2nd Shift Instock, our main job was to unload GM trucks.

Generally 90% of all the merchandise is simply thrown onto the trailer, not on pallets, not organized.

And even if it was organized, getting it delivered to the store still intact is a whole nother thing...

Actually, it would be a GREAT way to smuggle things. Even if you got pulled over and they looked in the trailer, they wouldn't be able to see past the mounds of boxed merchandise....

i hate unloading trailers like that. i have had to completely strip trailers full of boxes. this is kind of why i am glad i no longer work Friday nights. there was lots of freight that had to be removed from the skid to make it fit.

did you know you can pick up a penny with a forklift? you know you will try it when your board.

I would have thought the angle on the forks is too steep to scoop it up...

Makes sense now that I think about it. But I guess you've gotta be really careful with the throttle to make it flip like that.

And Device is great, but it sucks that Disturbed is pretty much disbanded.
