Well guys i picked up my 96 dodge ram 2500 4x4 12 valve cummins this past saturday. Its pretty much all stock (for now ). I ordered a 5 inch exhaust kit the other day so its gonna sound like a semi here soon. let me know wat you guys think. Im not sure if the pics loaded or not. im at school and trying to get around all there blocked sites and stuff so let me know if they showed up.

Im pretty sure that the 53 blocks where only 24 valves. I may be wrong though.

 

I thought that the 53 block was the early 2nd gen CTD's. The early ctd's are all 12v's? I think after 99 they started using the 24v's.

Looks like thers a couple beat up spots but other then that looks good. Good luck with it
