Meanest Looking 2nd Gen Truck of All Time!

14K with a 3/4ton and bumper pull. I sure hope you had brakes on that thing. Just because a truck can "pull" something doesnt mean it should be on the highway with other people. I see way to many people get hurt doing stuff like that. I have done some stupid things with trailers but not anymore. I almost lost a buddy to unsafe cargo.

i have brakes on my dodge truck i have a pretty hefty sized custom built hitch so it wasn't unsafe at all... the funny part was when we got to the place were we dropped it off.. it was a truck shop they were gonna restore the tanker... they had a truck scale and for fun i wanted to weight my truck with the trailer loaded.. truck and trailer with that tanker on it weighed in at 22,568lbs it was awesome i still got the slip in my truck

I would if you pull anything on a regular basis. $200 is nothing. I have hauled with and without trailer brakes and I will never pull any significant weight without them again. My little 1500 has a controller in it and the biggest trailer I will pull with it is my dads 18Ft tandem( with brakes). Just my opinion brother.

Just because you havent had problems yet doesn't mean it will not happen. My buddy was pulling a tracked bobcat with a gas 2500 chevy with no brakes on the interstate. had to come to a quick stop going 70 and put the trailer through the back window of the cab. Just because your truck will stop does not mean the load will. Like I said just my opinion, you will do what you want no matter how many opinions you here.
