finished up painting my hood got it on, man does it make the truck look beefy i love it ! ! its too dark to take pics so hopefully tomm is a nice day

 

indy i have a k&N cai , and one i time i switched to the 14x3 and felt i lost low end, you think with the cowl now i would better off switching back ?

and if you think i should go back to the 14x3 should i get a k&n filter for it

 

The cowl shouldnt make a difference, its just bringing in more air to your engine bay. Unless its directly channeled to your intake, even the cold are will just turn engine bay temp once it gets in.

 

If you have the provisions to do it, have the cowl duct the air to the round intake, and seal it off from that nice toasty air in the engine bay.

Badass!!!, but that really looks good on your truck, im not really a fan of the viper style but it looks sweet with the chrome and stuff, hard to tell in pictures but looks like the paint came out good too

 

thanks man ! the paint did turn out great had some orange peel from over spray. i wet sanded it with 2000 grit and buffed out , i want to do a couple more buffing sessions to make it really shine

 

Can I see a pic of the underside of the hood?
