No that's not me, lol. That's my buddy who was in the truck with me.

Okay, apparently what I call the hitch and what ya'll call the hitch are two different things. Ya'll are referring to the ball as the hitch while I'm talking about the actual hitch, the part attached to the truck. I don't own a ball mount right now because I don't tow. I've never heard of anyone call the ball the hitch before.

Yeah if only you had a ball on then you would have even less damage, right now I just have a 2in but im trying to find a tri-ball that has the 2in ball on top instead of the 2 3/4 ball, and glad your alright wait till tomarrow though.

It's already been a day and my friend and I are still 100%. Hell we went out and climbed a mountain today to explore what he thought was a cave...I was joking around about 5 minutes into the hike up there that it was only going to be like 10-15 feet deep and I wasn't too far off...lol.

The part that is attached to the truck is the receiver. The part you put in it is the hitch.

Well, just met up with the insurance guys from the dude that hit me and he's going to be giving me a pretty good quote I think. He noticed I had little dents all over the place on my tailgate, gotta repaint the tailgate, replace the plastic piece on the tailgate, whole new bumper, fix the bed where the bumper hit, and he didn't look but since my hitch took the brunt of the impact, he's thinking maybe there's some damage to it. He also said that if where ever I take it to to get it fixed finds anything else wrong, just let him know and he'll take care of it. I don't know how much I'll be getting at this time but it shouldn't be too long since he's going to do up the estimate today and mail me a check so I'm hoping soon.

Ok this was really quick, I've never heard of anyone getting their estimates and checks this quick but the guy just called me and is mailing me a check for 1037 and some change plus has already reserved a rental car for me for when I take it to the shop since he's thinking it'll take a shop 3 days to repair everything, lol.
