I understand flushing the lines separately, I just didn't want him to go and do the regular flush and ruin all that work with the lines.

jhammond, most likely the auto shops most likely don't go through all the trouble. They will either flush it the normal way or just do the fluid/filter change. The last transmission shop I was at refuses to do flushes because of those failures; probably so they won't be held responsible.
