My first dodge, but, far from my first truck. I paid too much for it, but, that's what I get for not doing proper research before forking out the money. Oh well. It is almost exactly what I was looking for, when the time to buy came about, so, live with the mistake, solve the assorted problems, drive it till the wheels fall off, bolt 'em back on, and drive it some more.

It seems that many have discovered what I have kown for many (more than I want to admit) years. I started with Dodge trucks in 1981 and will probably never have anything else, not just because they are solid trucks but they just seem to suit me better than the others. I have had a 65 D200-354 Hemi, 73 D150 Club Cab-400 BB, 77 D100-318, 81 D150-318, 86 D250-360, 97 1500-318, 04 1500 QC Hemi, 05 1500 QC Hemi, 01 1500 318 and a couple of parts trucks in between. They were all prety good trucks but I really would like to have the 65 back.

Going to look alot different in a few months. This weekend I'm going to tear into the body work, lots to be done. My closet is half full of stuff I bought for my Ram that's waiting to go on it when I get it painted (keepin' her black).
She's my pride and joy though. 203k and still pumping.

P.S. The Rebel flag was the first thing I got for my truck I was still DD'ing the 85' when I put that on. First thing. I purchased for the truck as a matter of fact. It is not meant to be offensive to anyone, and it is in my eyes not a symbol of hatred or rascism. I fell in love with the rebel flag on the General Lee of the Dukes of Hazzard and always wanted one on the back window of my truck.
